ROAD-RAIL WELDING MACHINE DAF WELDERLINER
|
|
|
DAF WELDERLINER is a hydrostatically driven Road-Rail vehicle equipped with railway brake system, board computer observing the Road-Rail system and controlling all the working movements and sensors to avoid and register any possible failure to achieve the highest level of safety standard. Rear rotational railway boogie with microdrive gives opportunity to get on track in worse accessible level crossing. Vehicle is equipped with CCTV camera and lights for working in the night. Very comfortable vehicle cab is designed for sleeping of 2 operators/drivers. Body contains whole the welding technology and contains supply of energy for auxiliary devices necessary at working site.
Welding head is a state of art mobile flash butt welding device with integrated rail puller. Welding of rails in a high quality and high accuracy is performed together with removing of flash by shears in one welding cycle. Welding process is completely automatic. High rail pulling forces enable adjustment of clamping temperature by means of rail tensioning at the same time. Thanks to this feature it is possible to fulfil temperature regulations even if the real rail temperatures are out of the limits.
- Low price of welded joint
- Welded rails geometry adjusted automatically
- Welding time approx. 90 seconds!
- Welding process is accurately monitored
- High quality of welded joint thanks to homogeneity of material and upsetting in the place of joint
- High mobility of welding machine thanks to Road-Rail solution, night cabin for sleeping of operators ideal for long trips
- Welding process adjustable at programmable unit – different regimes for different rails
- Automatically generated protocol incl. graph about each welded joint is at controller's disposal
- Data of travelled distances on Road and Railways and working hours from Road-Rail vehicle computer unit storable in laptop
- Easy access to working site by means of Road-Rail system with rear rotational unit, no need to block long time transport as with railway based machine
